Global temperature at 2.06°C above pre-industrial levels

November 17, 2023 is historic

This report does not receive the necessary attention in the media; the fear of scientific facts is probably too great. As CopernicusECMWF reports, November 17, 2023 was a historic day as the global temperature was 2.06 °C above pre-industrial (1850-1900) levels. Global warming is increasing rapidly and the Paris Climate Agreement is therefore a paper for the trash can. (The Paris Climate Agreement is intended to ensure that global warming is limited to well below two degrees Celsius compared to pre-industrial times; countries even want to try to limit warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius.)

Conclusion: The political and economic elites have completely failed; short-term profits are more important than long-term economics. The global cost of the consequences of global warming runs into the trillions. Unfortunately, the world is not prepared for the consequences.

There are turbulent times ahead from various perspectives.
