Weather Malaga - No significant precipitation in the next 10 days

Drought - rainy day bring no relaxation

In the province of Malaga, Hidrosur is responsible for measuring the reservoirs. The lack of rain has caused El Limonero (Malaga City) and La Viñuela (Velez Malaga) reservoirs to reach historic lows. On Thursday, before the rainy day, the Limonero reservoir reported a volume of only 20.59% and La Vinuela 7.46%.

There was significant rainfall on Friday. La Viñuela reports 37 l/m² of rain and Limonero 17 l/m². As a result, the volume in La Viñuela has hardly changed. This morning, at 10:00 a.m., a volume of 7.60% is measured. The situation in El Limonero reservoir is even more dramatic, where 20.41% is measured. Means that despite rain, the outflow is higher than the supply.
