Weather Spain - Still hot until Thursday

A cold drop is currently forming on the Atlantic, also known as DANA in Spain and will move over the Azores towards Madeira on Thursday and then on to Portugal and Spain.

From Friday onwards it will become increasingly colder from the west and thunderstorms, heavy rain and hail can be expected locally. Local storms are forecast across the country on Saturday.

When and where exactly the cold drop will finally attract increased attention will only be known at relatively short notice.
