Weather Spain - Example: Up to 65 mm of rain in Denia

Thunderstorms on the east coast and Balearic Islands

Cool air from the Atlantic is moving from the northwest towards the east coast and the Balearic Islands and is encountering hot and humid air masses. This is of course a recipe for trouble and there could be strong thunderstorms with hail and heavy rain in some places.

We have a few examples for next Wednesday and Thursday: Denia (Valencia) a total of 65 mm of rain, Eivissa (Ibiza) 20 mm, Port de Polenca (Mallorca) 55 mm and Benidorm (Valencia) 12 mm.
