Global warming

The 1.5 °C mark has been exceeded

The year 2024 set to end up as the warmest on record

Samantha Burgess, Deputy Director of the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S): “After 10 months of 2024 it is now virtually certain that 2024 will be the warmest year on record and the first year of more than 1.5ºC above pre-industrial levels according to the ERA5 dataset."

meteo365.es: Global warming is a fact. The deniers could simply look at the shrinking glaciers and accept the decline in sea ice in the Arctic and Antarctic as a fact. The mild temperatures in winter and low amounts of snow in the European low mountain ranges also serve as evidence of existing global warming.

Yes, global warming will continue to cause headaches in the coming decades and cause local extreme weather conditions.

However, we do not see deindustrialization and a planned economy, as is currently the case in Germany and some European countries, as a solution. The solution lies in new technologies that could be invented and researched at universities and in private companies. There are already many good approaches, if they were given a chance free of any ideology and interests.

So anyone who thinks that we at meteo365.es would vote for the Greens is seriously mistaken. We rely on the free market and on a policy that promotes the idea of achievement and creates the framework for research and science. It is capitalism and greed that brought humanity out of poverty and brought education, health and prosperity to most people.

History has taught us that socialism always only brings poverty and dramatic repression for humanity.
