February began with Storm Leonardo, bringing Grazalema 810 mm of rain since Tuesday. On Wednesday, 582 mm of rain was measured within 24 hours. Yesterday, Thursday, the evacuation of Grazalema was ordered.
The military emergency unit UME is deployed and supporting the emergency services on site. Numerous roads are impassable, and the risk of landslides remains.
Storm Marta will arrive on Saturday, and once again Andalusia will be in focus, with Grazalema once again receiving an orange warning.
