Catastrophic cyclone will reach mainland in the Northwest on Thursday

Tropical cyclone TC 18S is coming up off the coast northeast of Australia. The cyclone is supposed to hit the mainland between Broome and Port Hedland on Thursday.

Intense rainfall will lead to massive floodings and gusts of more than 200 km/h could become life-threatening. Heavy swell with more than 9 metres has been announced. The cyclone will hit the mainland as a category 4.
