As announced, Tropical Cyclone Ilsa made landfall in north-west Australia during the night.
With category 5, the cyclone reached a measured wind speed of 218 km/h at Bedout Island. The cyclone is currently moving east and will quickly lose strength. Locally there are massive heavy rain events and flooding.
