Weather USA - temperature drop for large parts of the country

Arctic cold air is currently moving from Canada towards the USA. Large parts of the country are experiencing a sharp drop in temperature and severe frost is on the agenda.

Examples. Today there are still mild daily highs of 15 °C for Dallas (Texas). By Monday the thermometer will drop to -10 °C. In Houston (Texas) another 16 °C is forecast today, and on Monday the thermometer will drop to -2 °C. It is already freezing cold in Kansas City (Kansas). Here the thermometer already shows -16 °C, the lowest value is expected at -25 °C. In Chicago (Illinois) the well-known cold and snowy winter has not yet occurred. This now changes dramatically, the thermometer drops to -26 °C. The cold wind from the northwest makes the situation even more uncomfortable. The cold front also reaches New York. While 14 °C is forecast today, it will become increasingly frosty until Monday. At night the thermometer drops to -5 °C.
