This morning at 6 a.m. El Ejido in the Andalusian province of Almeria reported 29.2 °C. It doesn´t get any crazier.
A look out of the window shows us that there is still plenty of Sahara dust today. Exactly 2 years ago, see archive photo above, we had a similar situation. At that time there was also rain and the buildings were correspondingly dirty. This could then happen again on the night from Sunday to Monday. We currently have 7 mm of rain in the forecast for Malaga city on Sunday evening and 12 mm for Monday. As Holy Week, Semana Santa, continues, we can expect unsettled weather. There may always be some rain, but it will also get significantly cooler and the 20 °C will probably no longer be reached.
Seville
Semana Santa is also an important event in Seville. In our forecast for Seville we expect 7 mm of rain on Sunday evening and then 25 mm of rain on Monday with only 19 °C. The same applies to Seville: Unstable weather is the order of the day during Holy Week and the 20 °C will probably not be reached.
