Germany is significantly warmer than Spain

Interesting weather conditions for May 1st


Anyone who has booked a holiday on the Spanish mainland or the Balearic Islands for this week will not be bothered by the extreme heat. Let´s take a look at our ongoing forecast for Malaga until May 1st. The maximum temperatures reach a maximum of 21 °C. In Palma de Mallorca there will be rain and a maximum of 16 °C this Monday, 19 °C on Tuesday and 20 °C on May 1st.


The weather situation in Germany is completely different. In Cottbus today a maximum of 23 °C, on Tuesday 28 °C and on Wednesday 26 °C. On May 1st, 27 °C can be expected in Hanover and an average of 24 °C in the rest of Germany.



The forecast then continues to be warm with > 25 °C in the northern half of Germany on May 2nd, and up to 25 °C in the northeast on May 3rd.



Locally intense thunderstorms are possible in the southwest half from Thursday.



In our trend, Spain returns with hot temperatures again. In Seville we are forecasting 27 °C next Saturday and 28 °C on Sunday. On May 6th the thermometer climbs to 31 °C and on May 7th it reaches a hot 35 °C.
