As we predicted on July 26, last night the mix of a cold drop (DANA) and Saharan dust (Calima) brought some rain (with sand) and light thunderstorms to the Costa del Sol. That´s not something you see very often at the end of July.
But the antics are continuing this week and the next Terral (hot wind from the Andalusian hinterland) is just around the corner. From the middle of the week, the thermometer in Malaga will climb back towards 40 °C. If this continues, we will certainly see a new record number of days with Terral at the end of the summer.
