Andalusia weather - snow line drops to 2,700 meters

Thunderstorms and rain in the eastern half on Friday

It´s May 20, 2025, and by now, Andalusia should be able to prepare for stable summer weather.

That´s not the case yet and on Friday, eastern Andalusia will be the one feeling the effects. The current hourly forecast calls for thunderstorms with rain. 15 mm of rain is expected for Granada and the snow line will drop to 2,700 meters in the Sierra Nevada. Rain is also expected in the province of Almería with 12 mm of rain currently forecast for Albox.

There may also be a small thunderstorm cell in the province of Malaga and we have 5 mm of rain forecast for the Serranía de Ronda.

In Malaga temperatures will still reach 28°C on Thursday, but Friday will be significantly cooler with a maximum of 21°C.
