Andalusia Weather - It's getting hot and the 40°C mark is falling

Will May end with 40°C?

We don't want to anticipate the final result, but spring 2025 will probably not be one of the warmest months on record in Andalusia.

The finale of May won't change that. On Wednesday, or Thursday at the latest, our current forecast predicts 40°C in the Andalusian province of Seville and probably also in the province of Córdoba. This would mark the first time this year that the 40°C mark has been reached. In the provinces of Huelva, Seville, Córdoba, and Jaén, 40°C is perfectly normal during the summer months, although we know from our own experience that, despite the dry winds, this is still a huge strain on the body.

Thanks to the still cool water temperature, it is pleasant along the coast. The Malaga buoy currently reports a water temperature of 20 °C, Almeria 20 °C, Valencia 20 °C and Mallorca 21 °C.
