Seville weather - GFS trend forecast predicts first heatwave of the year

We forecast 46°C for the end of June

In the Andalusian capital of Seville, it's always very hot in the summer, with daily temperatures of 40°C common.

However, according to our current GFS trend forecast, the first official heatwave will likely hit at the end of June. From June 27 to June 30, daily highs are expected to reach 45°C to 46°C. This is above average for June, and a red alert will likely be issued. Of course, it won't just be hot in Seville; the heatwave will extend from Huelva, Cadiz, Seville and Cordoba to Jaén. Even in Malaga, on the coast, temperatures are expected to reach 36°C.
