Cold air is flowing from the North Atlantic to the Iberian Peninsula, reaching Andalusia.
Seville will only have a high of 31°C on Friday, and even Cordoba is forecast to reach only 34°C. This means that the hot air masses from the Andalusian hinterland are moving towards the Costa del Sol. A hot wind, called Terral, will bring 36°C to Malaga on Friday. However, with humidity dropping to 33%, the heat will be manageable.On July 8, the Malaga buoy reported a water temperature of 28°C. This is a new record for a July month. However, with the wave direction shifting to the south-southwest, the water temperature should also drop again. 23°C to 24°C is realistic for the weekend.
