Weather in Europe - It stays warmest in Spain

Cold air from the north flows to the Balkan Peninsula

In the first week of May, cold air flows from Scandinavia across Central Europe to the Balkan Peninsula and Italy.

Our weather, example for Wednesday: The maximum daily temperature reaches 17 °C in Munich, 16 °C in Vienna, 17 °C in Split, 15 °C in Thessaloniki, 17 °C in Bari and 20 °C in Mykonos. In Italy and on the Balkan Peninsula there will also be rain and thunderstorms.

It remains the warmest on the Iberian Peninsula. In Spain, the daily maximum temperatures in the autonomies of Extremadura and Andalusia reach > 30 °C.

On the Spanish Costa Blanca, the daily highs in Alicante rise to 24 °C to 25 °C, in Benidorm only to 20 °C. On the Costa del Sol, our forecast sees maximum values of 24 °C for Malaga and 25 °C for Marbella.
