The third heat wave of the year begins

The third heat wave of the year begins in Spain on Sunday and will last until Thursday. Temperatures of 40°C to 42°C are expected across much of Spain, with temperatures as high as 43°C in the province of Córdoba in Andalusia.

Temperatures will not fall below 23°C to 25°C overnight. However, the heat wave will not set any new records above 45°C.
