Malaga is now in a state of emergency until August 24th. Hundreds of thousands from all over the world will participate in what is arguably the largest festival in the Mediterranean. While the celebrations take place in the city center during the day, the party continues in the evening on the Feria grounds. The party doesn't end until sunrise, and the question will be: what will the weather be like? How many cold drinks (cerveza) will be needed to survive?
Our 5-day forecast predicts desert days throughout. Daily highs will fluctuate between 36°C and 38°C. Fortunately, daytime humidity is below 50%, making the high temperatures more bearable. Things are different at night, with humidity rising to 70% and lows never dropping below 25°C. In short, party nights are going to be a sweaty affair.
