Costa del Sol weather - Change in weather with easterly winds starting Monday

Gorgeous late summer weather this weekend

October on the Costa del Sol (Malaga province) means glorious late summer weather. This weekend, we have a forecast for daytime highs of 30°C for Malaga city.

We expect 28°C in Torremolinos, 28°C in Benalmadena, 30°C in Fuengirola, 27°C in Mijas, 26°C in Marbella and 26°C in Nerja.

Starting Monday morning, the weather will change with easterly winds (Levante) taking over. It will be windy in Nerja with gusts of 30 km/h and waves up to 1.6 meters high. Daytime highs will then be only 23°C to 24°C. In Malaga city, we have gusts of 40 km/h in the forecast and the daytime high will be 24°C. It's also going to be windy in Marbella with gusts of 41 km/h and a maximum temperature of 24°C.

The wind will ease again on Wednesday, but temperatures won't reach 30°C. Our forecast predicts an easterly wind will return next Friday, even bringing some rain.
