Weather Spain - It will be cooler, rain in the southeast

Significant weather change from Wednesday

Starting Wednesday evening, we expect a significant change in the weather, primarily affecting the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula and Ibiza. The forecast calls for thunderstorms, rain, and stormy winds. This weather situation is expected to last until Tuesday.

Since we cannot yet completely rule out a cold drop (spanisch: DANA), we still have uncertainties in the forecast regarding the amount and location of rainfall.

Beginning on October 29, 2024, a DANA caused catastrophic conditions in Valencia, Murcia, and Andalusia, with 236 people dying as a result of flooding. meteo365.es was on site, see articles DANA - Valencia reports 155 deaths & Weather Valencia - up to 700 l/m² in Turís

However, the current weather models do not currently foresee any such threat.

In the Andalusian Sierra Nevada, the mountain peaks may see the first snow of the season on Friday.
