Severe weather forecast for Corfu

Autumn storms are not uncommon in the Ionian Sea and often bring heavy rainfall.

From Tuesday to Thursday of next week, a low-pressure system is forecasting severe weather for the popular Greek holiday island of Corfu. The European weather model ICON predicts a total of up to 200 mm of rain, while the GFS model forecasts up to 100 mm. Stormy conditions are expected overnight into Thursday, with gusts exceeding 80 km/h.
