On the fourth Sunday of Advent, a low-pressure system will develop off the coast of Galicia, bringing cold & wet weather to Spain. The snow line will drop to 700 meters in some regions.

In Andalusia, snow is expected in the Sierra Bermeja, Sierra de la Nieves, Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama and Sierra Nevada. The Sierra Nevada ski resort is forecast to receive up to 25 cm of fresh snow. In the provincial capital of Malaga, 10 mm of rain is expected, with daytime highs of only 12°C to 13°C.

It will also be significantly cooler in Benidorm (Valencian Community), with daytime highs reaching 13°C to 15°C.

In Palma de Mallorca (Balearic Islands), the weather will also be unsettled, with temperatures between 13°C and 16°C.

We will reach the 20°C mark in Maspalomas (Canary Islands).
