Change in weather - Rain and lots of Saharan dust

Spain, the warmest region in Europe
Rain forecast for Wednesday morning

Easter in Spain: plenty of sunshine and temperatures above 30°C.

Mainland Spain is the warmest region in Europe. However, a change in the weather is expected starting Tuesday, with a storm system west of the peninsula bringing rain and lots of Saharan dust, especially on Wednesday. This could lead to muddy rain, soiling houses and cars. Andalusia is at the center of the storm.

Our current ICON-EU rain forecast for the Costa del Sol:

Malaga Capital 32 mm
Torremolinos 31 mm
Benalmadena 31 mm
Fuengirola 28 mm
Marbella 32 mm
Nerja 6 mm

We also expect 30 mm of rain in Cordoba, 32 mm in Jaen, and 10 mm in Granada.

The change in weather will also bring a brief drop in temperature on Wednesday. For example, Cordoba will only reach a high of 15°C on Wednesday, compared to 30°C today.
