Weather Wimbledon / London - The week starts changeable

The third Grand Slam tournament of the year starts today in Wimbledon, the only tennis tournament of this size to be played on grass.

The tournament has been held since 1877 and is one of the most important sporting events today. Boris Becker won Wimbledon in 1985, 1986 and 1989. Roger Federer won 8 tournaments between 2003 and 2017. Steffi Graf managed 7 tournament wins.

The stadium, Center Court, holds 15,000 spectators. Since not all pitches have a roof, the weather forecast is of course very important.
