Weather Andalusia - The thermometer climbs up to 46 °C

There will be another heat wave next week

From Sunday Spain will be hit by another heat wave. The heat will bring difficult conditions, especially in Andalusia.

Up to 45 °C are forecast in the provinces of Seville and Cordoba, and even 46 °C are possible in the province of Jaen on Tuesday. The highs will only fall below the 40 °C mark again on Friday.

The example of the Sierra Nevada shows how hot it gets in Andalusia. There, at an altitude of 3,000 meters, a peak of 16 °C is still possible.

But it will also be hot again in the autonomous region of Extremadura, where temperatures of up to 43 °C are also forecast.

Incidentally, the heat wave extends as far as Aragon, and Zaragoza will also be sweating at 42 °C on Tuesday.

Malaga weather - Costa del Sol

Taking Malaga as an example: On Monday the thermometer rises to 32 °C, Tuesday 34 °C, Wednesday 36 °C, Thursday 38 °C and Friday 36 °C. The Malaga buoy is currently reporting a water temperature of 25.7 °C.

The risk of forest fires will also increase significantly at these temperatures, and the highest warning level applies to large parts of Spain.
