Weather Tenerife - Some rain possible in the afternoon


The forest fire on Tenerife now has a size of 8,400 hectares. 12,279 people have been evacuated. 343 emergency services are currently fighting the fire. This morning, 23 fire-fighting aircraft and helicopters will be deployed.


Weather Tenerife: At noon there could be some rain in the south of Tenerife. 4 mm of rain are forecast for the Pico del Teide. It is not yet clear whether the rain will reach the current source of the fire. However, the amount of rain currently forecast will probably not be enough to contain the flames.
