Malaga Airport recorded its best year to date in 2023 with 22,344,373 passengers. However, this record will probably be broken again this year.
In May 2024, Malaga Airport registered 2,378,119 passengers, an increase of 10.5% compared to May 2023. From January to May, Malaga Airport already reported 9,060,687 passengers, which represents an incredible increase of 14.8% compared to the same period in 2023.
Malaga is currently in 4th place among the busiest airports in Spain. Mallorca is in 3th place, Barcelona in 2nd place and Madrid in 1st place. Alicante follows in 5th place, ahead of Gran Canaria and Tenerife Sur.
Incidentally, all arrivals and departures at Malaga Airport are recorded by our own 8 ADS B antennas. All departures and arrivals at Malaga Airport are of course animated in real time on our own map. We also have a
live webcam on runway 12/30 and a weather station at the top and bottom of the runway.
In addition to our own weather data, we of course also have the
METAR weather data
Summer on the Costa del Sol, with meteo365.es you won't miss anything. With 27 of our own weather webcams and weather stations, we are by far the leading provider of real-time weather on the Costa del Sol.
