Weather Spain - Andalusia gets a break

No heatwave in sight

The heatwave at the turn of June and July brought a high of 46°C in El Granado in the Andalusian province of Huelva. The good news is that our forecast doesn't include a heatwave for the next five days. So, Andalusia and Extremadura are getting a little respite.

It's still going to be hot

Highs between 35°C and 38°C are expected for Seville over the next five days. In El Granado, we have a range of 29°C to 35°C. However, in Cordoba, we could reach 40°C on Monday.

The Costa del Sol is experiencing normal summer weather. Daytime highs will reach 30°C to 31°C in Malaga, 27°C to 30°C in Marbella, and 28°C to 30°C in Nerja.

It's going to be quite warm in Benidorm. We're forecasting a daily high of 31°C. It's going to be even warmer in Denia, with temperatures reaching up to 33°C.

That leaves us with the Balearic Islands. We're expecting highs of 28°C to 32°C for Palma de Mallorca. On the party island of Ibiza, you can party at 28°C.

Our 10-day forecast also doesn't predict a second heat wave.
