Sierra Nevada weather in July & August
The summer season in the Andalusian Sierra Nevada has begun.
The lifts are in operation from July 19 to August 24. Adults aged 16 and over pay €42 for a day ticket for unlimited use. This ticket is particularly suitable for mountain bikers. A ticket for one ascent and descent costs €17.50 per person.At the Pradollano valley station, daily highs range from 22°C to 24°C, and up to 15°C at 3,000 meters.
The Sierra Nevada is a highlight for hikers and mountain bikers, especially in the summer months. Numerous well-maintained hiking trails allow you to experience the full beauty of the Andalusian high mountains.
The highest mountain in the Sierra Nevada is the Mulhacen at 3,482 meters. The Pradollano valley station is 160 km from Malaga.
