With 1,575,859 passengers, it recorded an increase of 3.5% compared to February 2025. From January to February 2026, the airport handled a total of 3,016,153 passengers, representing an increase of 4.3% compared to the same period in 2025.
However, it should be noted that following the tragic Ademuz train accident, the AVE high-speed rail line from Malaga to Madrid is currently closed, forcing thousands to switch to air travel.
