Royal Caribbean officially took delivery of its new cruise ship, Legend of the Seas, on June 10. The giant vessel can accommodate up to 7,600 passengers, measures 365 meters in length, 48.5 meters in width, and has a draft of 8.8 meters. The ship is powered by LNG (liquefied natural gas).
The Legend of the Seas will begin its maiden season in the Mediterranean, with Barcelona and Rome serving as its primary home ports. On its way to Barcelona, the ship will also make a call at Malaga on June 29. Arrival is expected at around 7:00 a.m., and the vessel is scheduled to depart again in the late afternoon, continuing its journey toward Alicante.
