Storm - 36,000 people are evacuated in Emilia-Romagna


Severe weather causes damage of 620 million euros


The storms of the past few days in Italy have particularly affected the Emilia-Romagna region.

36,600 people had to be evacuated as a result of the floods. In the popular coastal town of Ravenna alone, 50 km north of Rimini and 70 km east of Bologna, 27,700 people were evacuated. 4,963 people were housed in public reception facilities.

The preliminary damage from this storm catastrophe is estimated at 620 million euros.
