Northern Europe warmer than Malaga
From Friday, May 1st, 2026, an interesting weather pattern will develop in Europe. Warm air masses from Spain will flow into Northern Europe, bringing summer-like warmth to large parts of the country.

London is forecast to reach a high of 25°C, as are France, Belgium, the Netherlands and western Germany. The warm air masses will extend as far north as Sweden, with temperatures expected to reach 24°C in Sundsvall. On Saturday, the forecast even predicts a summery 27°C for the Netherlands and western Germany, while Malaga (Costa del Sol) is expected to reach only 19°C. Sunday will remain mostly warm, with the warm air mass moving eastward into Poland and Hungary.
