We render our weather maps ourselves — so layer switching and time animation stay smooth instead of stuttering like an image slideshow.
Our own nowcast
From the current radar we extrapolate the next 60 minutes of rainfall — to the minute, not just the coarse model forecast.
Multi-model, no lock-in
Global (ICON-Global, GFS), regional (ICON-EU, ICON-D2, ARPEGE) and specialised models (gfswave, EWAM, CAMS, CMEMS) — you compare, not us.
And honest stays honest: weather is a complex, changing process. Our maps, forecasts and nowcasts are made with the greatest care, but come without warranty — in an emergency, the official warnings of the national weather services always apply.
