As happened a few days ago on Menorca, cool air from the northwest meets warm, humid air in the Mediterranean, 200 mm of rain falls within 4 hours and causes massive local flooding.
Autumn is now approaching and there will be more weather conditions that transport cool air and allow it to meet warm, humid air masses in the Mediterranean. Statistically, this will lead to heavy rain events locally, sometimes more and sometimes less with the potential for damage.
