Based on our current hourly forecast, we set off with our OB-Van towards the province of Cadiz and the western part of the province of Malaga. Our route took us from Malaga to Sotogrande and from there towards the Guadalcacin reservoir, then on to El Bosque and Grazalema, then via Ronda to Jubrique, Estepona, and back to Malaga.
According to the forecast, we expected the rainfall to be concentrated in the area between Ronda and Estepona in the evening, and that´s exactly what happened. Our radar with NowCast (precipitation development over the next 60 minutes) was particularly impressive; it allowed us to operate precisely along the storm front and record the events on video.
