Andalusia Weather - Major Uncertainties in the Weather Models
The weather model ICON-EU has a cold drop (DANA) in its current forecast for Monday and Tuesday. This means that severe weather conditions could occur.

90 mm of rain is expected in Pradollano (Sierra Nevada) on Monday and 40 mm on Tuesday. In Lanjaron, we have 54 mm of rain forecast for Monday and 13 mm on Tuesday.
The forecast for the Costa del Sol is not quite as dramatic. In Benalmadena, 22 mm of rain is expected on Monday and 7 mm on Tuesday. Malaga could see a total of 18 mm of rain.
Our weather model GFS does not predict any rain in the aforementioned regions. AEMET also has no rain forecast.
Of course, it is in the nature of a cold drop that the forecast is very difficult, but between 130 mm of rain in Pradollano and 0 mm of rain, this is a very unsatisfactory interim result.
