The Eclipse in Spain - Only clouds can affect the event
In Spain, the eclipse will be visible during its final phases, as the phenomenon ends over the Balearic Islands, almost at sunset. Even so, our country will be the best place in the world to observe the eclipse, so a large number of eclipse chasers and tourists in general are expected to travel here.

In addition, the eclipse occurs just before the night of the Perseids meteor shower peak, offering the opportunity to remain at the observation site after the eclipse and enjoy the shooting stars.
It is worth remembering that solar eclipses necessarily take place during a new moon, so on the night of August 12–13, 2026, the Moon will not interfere at all with observing the meteors.
