On the satellite image you can only see smoke, which is now also affecting people's health. British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Alberta are affected. A state of emergency has been declared for Alberta. Tens of thousands of people had to be evacuated and numerous roads are closed. And for today, Monday, up to 32 °C are expected in Alberta and Saskatchewan. However, there may be more thunderstorms and rain coming from the west over the coming hours and days. Where and how this precipitation can help the fire fighters is something to watch.
