According to the latest forecast, Typhoon RAGASA is expected to make landfall near Hong Kong or Macau on Wednesday. Peak winds of 150 km/h and 50 mm of rain per square meter per hour are forecast.
In the Atlantic, Tropical Storm GABRIELLE will develop into a hurricane during the course of the day. This hurricane will initially move toward Bermuda and then turn eastward. On Friday, GABRIELLE will then ravage the Azores. According to our trend forecast, former Hurricane GABRIELLE will hit the coast of Galicia on September 29th. GABRIELLE would then have travelled a distance of +- 6000 kilometres since its formation off the coast of Cape Verde.
