Weather in Spain - Cool and Unsettled Weather Over Christmas

The big question is, what will the weather be like in Spain's popular tourist destinations over the Christmas period?

In recent years, we've been lucky with sunny and mild temperatures. This year, it will be cool with rain in some areas and even more snow at higher elevations.

Costa del Sol: For Malaga, we're forecasting temperatures between 8°C and 14°C for Christmas Eve, with a chance of rain in the afternoon. On Christmas Day, we'll start with 6°C and reach a maximum of 14°C in the afternoon.

Sierra Nevada: At the mid-station of Borreguiles, we expect daytime highs of -7°C, but probably no fresh snow.

Benidorm: It will also be cool in Benidorm, with a mix of sun and clouds. Lows will range from 6°C to 8°C and highs from 13°C to 14°C.

Palma de Mallorca: In Palma de Mallorca, we expect a low of 6°C and a high of 13°C on Christmas Eve. Light rain is possible on Christmas Day, with temperatures between 9°C and 13°C.

Maspalomas: It won't be quite as cold on Gran Canaria. Temperatures in Maspalomas will range between 18°C ​​and 20°C. No precipitation is expected.
