Above the rooftops rise the high-rises of Benalmádena Costa, and in the background the hills of the Sierra de Mijas with the Monte Calamorro close the scene. Puerto Marina is one of Spain's best-known marinas: its unusual architecture, with little island houses built into the water, has made it internationally famous.
