The live weather webcam on the Alameda Principal shows one of Málaga's busiest thoroughfares – the broad avenue with its central promenade lined by tall ficus trees and palms, and the entrance to Calle Marqués de Larios, the elegant pedestrian and shopping street that everyone simply calls "Calle Larios". This is where the heart of the city centre beats, by day and by night. The Alameda links the harbour with the historic centre and is the stage for the city's great moments: the Semana Santa processions, the summer feria and the famous Christmas lights, for which Calle Larios is turned into a sea of light year after year. Through the camera you can see how busy the streets are and what mood the city is in.
