About this webcam

The live weather webcam onto the Alcazaba shows the emblem of Málaga – the mighty Moorish fortress from the 11th century that climbs from the centre up the hill towards the Gibralfaro. In the same frame rises Málaga Cathedral with its unfinished south tower, which the city fondly calls "La Manquita", the one-armed lady. At the foot of the fortress the white City Hall of Málaga (Ayuntamiento) gleams amid lush palm gardens, and behind it the historic centre stretches up to the Gibralfaro. From this vantage point you can follow the old-town skyline in every light – from a clear morning through the golden evening to the floodlit scene at night. Through the camera you can see how the weather stands over the rooftops of Málaga. We also show the current readings from our weather station in Málaga – temperature, wind, gusts and air pressure in real time – along with the hourly forecast. Ideal for planning a visit to the Alcazaba, the Gibralfaro and the cathedral in the best weather.
