The live weather webcam at Playa La Malagueta shows Málaga's best-known city beach around the clock – a broad arc of sand right next to the harbour and the old town. From here the view runs along the Paseo Marítimo Ciudad de Melilla promenade, the rows of palms and the wide bay to the harbour entrance with its lighthouse. La Malagueta is just a few minutes' walk from the centre, the bullring and the Muelle Uno cultural harbour – which is why the beach is equally popular with locals and city-break visitors. Along the seafront, chiringuitos serve up Espetos de Sardinas, joggers and cyclists pass by in the morning, and in the afternoon the gently shelving water fills up.
