The live weather webcam looks along the coast over the Paseo Marítimo Rey de España: across the beach with its straw parasols, past the round plaza with the large mosaic and the statue, out onto the rocky moles and the forest of masts of Fuengirola's marina. Bathers stand in the shallow water, and further out boats and jet skis draw their white trails – on clear days the view reaches far beyond the harbour. The Puerto Deportivo of Fuengirola is the starting point for fishing trips, dolphin and coastal excursions and watersports; restaurants and bars line the berths. Right in front begins Los Boliches, once a fishing quarter and today one of the town's busiest beach stretches. The groyne in front of the beach takes the power out of the swell, so the water here usually stays especially calm.
