The live weather webcam at Hotel Yaramar shows the beach and promenade of Fuengirola around the clock – one of the liveliest stretches of coast on the Costa del Sol. The view looks straight onto the golden sand, the palm-lined Paseo Marítimo Rey de España and, beyond it, the wide Mediterranean, shifting from deep blue to silver with the light and the wind. Fuengirola lies southwest of Málaga between Benalmádena and Mijas Costa and is famous for its seafront promenade of almost eight kilometres – one of the longest in Spain. Around Hotel Yaramar, in the Los Boliches district, chiringuitos line the shore grilling the typical espetos de sardinas over an open fire, alongside cafés, ice-cream parlours and playgrounds. In the morning the beach and promenade belong to walkers and runners; through the day the shoreline fills with bathers; and in the evening the paseo draws strollers with the sea in view.
